Who is Valley Forward?
for those who aren't prepared for the DRAMA of "Who is John Galt?" (or, for that matter, Ron Paul, i suppose). Brad Blum - whose dad, Ron, is some kinda hot-shot dentist - writes:

Valley Forward is a relatively new organization with more than 100 members and is composed mostly of young professionals from the Roanoke Valley.

...which, in this particular Retirement Community, means 40 yr olds.

Denise says she saw **** down at the Owl, pished to the gills, imploring bar patrons to ignore "dangerous liberal" George Will and his short list of running mates for likely Republican Presidential nominee John McCain. Blum's man - again, according to Denise (hi, Denise!) - is, um, Virginia Congressman Eric Cantor (from Richmond, maybe?). i have heard absolutely no one else mention Rep. Cantor in this (potential) capacity and can only conclude that it's part of a scheme hatched by Blum, with or without his young middle-aged friends...
